*696 JUSTICE LINN delivered the opinion of the court:
After a jury trial, defendant, William James Pickering, was found guilty of rape (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 38, par. 11-1), and sentenced to 15 to 30 years' imprisonment. On appeal, he contends: (1) the trial court erred in allowing the introduction of "other crimes" evidence as a rebuttal to defendant's alibi defense; (2) his 15- to 30-year sentence is excessive in light of his rehabilitative potential; and (3) he was not proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
We affirm.
